Amber C. Shrodes joined MacKenzie in 2007. Formerly the Marketing Specialist for the Harford County Office of Economic Development, Amber brings more than seven years of marketing experience to the firm.

Shrodes has played a leading role in a number of regional marketing efforts, including the development of Maryland Ready, a campaign developed to tout the region's preparedness to meet Base Realignment and Closure recommendations made by the Department of Defense in 2005. The successful campaign was later adopted by the State.

As the Director of Marketing and Communications, Shrodes is responsible for managing the marketing efforts for MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC and its five affiliate companies, MacKenzie Capital, MacKenzie Management, MacKenzie Contracting, MacKenzie Development, and MacKenzie Communities. Upon joining the firm, Shrodes implemented an email marketing program, facilitated the creation of new company collateral materials, and coordinated the Company's 2008 40th Anniversary Campaign. Recent efforts include the completion of corporate brochures for each division, the development of an interactive trade show display, and the re-development of the company's website.

Shrodes, a graduate of the University of Maryland, specializes in creative, multi-media marketing strategies and has been recognized locally, nationally, and internationally for her efforts.
