Joining MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC in 1994 as an Associate Broker, Karen focused primarily on the sale and leasing of office buildings in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. In addition to her Broker role, she also serves as the Manager of the Brokerage Division at MacKenzie. Ms. Deeley is responsible for all management functions of the division, which includes overseeing 33 sales and leasing associates and the administrative staff located in five offices. In addition, she directs the development and coordination of all marketing and business development strategies for the company. Prior to joining MacKenzie, Ms. Deeley was a vice president of the First National Bank of Maryland (now M&T Bank) in the commercial real estate division, where she was involved in all aspects of commercial real estate and construction lending. She brings more than 30 years of experience in the financing, leasing, and sale of commercial real estate to the MacKenzie Brokerage Team and is licensed as an Associate Broker in Maryland and Virginia. Ms. Deeley is an active member of the Greater Baltimore Committee's Transportation Financing and Governance Task Force as well as the President's Advisory Committee. She is a member of Network 2000, an executive non-profit organization dedicated to "opening doors" for women through mentoring, grants, and partnership and a Board member of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Notre Dame Preparatory School in Towson. Ms. Deeley holds a B.S. in Economics from Towson University.
