As an Asset Management/Development Associate, Brendan splits time between developing commercial real estate projects and managing income producing projects. On the development end, he is responsible for acquisitions, pre-acquisition due diligence, management of entitlements, pro-forma analysis, project management, loan closings, and construction oversight. Brendan has been instrumental in the development of nearly 800,000 square feet of commercial space both for Mackenzie's portfolio and for third party clients. In addition, as an Asset Manager, Brendan manages over 700,000 square feet of office and retail buildings, and is responsible for vendor contract negotiation and administration, property inspections, capital improvement planning and management, tenant relations, and annual budget preparation. Prior to joining MacKenzie, Brendan was an integral part of the sales and leasing team in Cushman & Wakefield's San Diego Office where he concentrated on tenant representation. Brendan currently sits of the board for NAIOP Maryland, and is a founding board member of BaySavers, Inc. Born and raised in Baltimore, Brendan went to St. Paul's School for Boys and holds a degree in English from the University of Virginia.
